gulf meets shore
with silky sand
and tiny shells
the sun descends
through sailing clouds
and atmosphere
of altered light
surrounds our skin
expanding space
and lifting limbs
the pale blue air
and briny calm
mend our minds
and sinewed souls
as we are drawn
again to waters
He restoreth my soul. -Psalm 23:3a
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. -Habakkuk 2:14
